There are some amazing close ups here at the moment
Here is something a little different - it's an Eagle Owl
I have just recently had a trip to eagle Heights in Kent and taken around
280 shots - I am only just starting to go through them.
~ Aside from a frame and resize - this is as it came off the camera..
ISO was high as lighting was dull and overcast.
D80 seems to be working OK now
(ISO 800, 20th sec, F5,6 +0.7ev)
Great composition Geoff. I'd love to find a wild one of those like you did.
Doesn't look as impressive as a small image but I really like this shot at full size.
I just wish I'd been a bit more left.
I do a few motorsport shots at local events.
Lovelly shot cyclone. I like where you positioned yourself to get that road in the background. Nice colours and clarity too.
glad you like it. It's the red that struck me, it's lovely car.
It's a great shot especially as the car is coming towards you and you used 1/160 sec shutter speed.

Yep, these hillclimb modded ones are running about 600bhp and they look awesome too.
There was a Pikes Peak version on the UK hills, but sadly the driver died and the car is now in a museum.
Geoff that looks like the owl that I posted a few days ago. Those big orange eyes make the picture.
DPR I know what you mean. Some of my favorite shots would be even better if I hadn't clipped off just a small part of the subject. It's still a good looking pic'.
Nice Audi Cyclone
I getting another cat picture ready to post
