I look at it as by acknowledging there's a lot of room for improvement in my shots I'm striving to improve and thinking about alternatives all the time.
I just wish my 8 yo daughter with her P&S wouldn't keep showing me up with regard to looking at my scenes differently.
Dread; I don't mean to imply that you can't help me improve, I just mean to say that I have a vision in my head of what I want my work to look like, and I need to get that out of my head and into my shots.
Perhaps posting and getting criticisms will help, so I may try that, although I hate posting stuff I'm not happy with. Perfectionism is a disease, I know... haha!
Visual Reality; I have actually watched those Martin Evening clips at length and he makes it all look so easy. I think I can say the majority of my problems involve lighting, so I need to work on that mainly.
Rooz; it is the only club worth belonging to.
So these are macro days:):)
Many people may think this one is overexposed, and I agree that it is, but I like it!
Nice kitty. This is one of two pic's that turned out. I took 29. I took this at about 40 yards through a chainlink fence. I cropped about 2/3 of the off.

I like your second shot, ooverdrive. Do you have a shot of the same bug from a different perspective? I'd like to be able to see where his head ends and the leaf begins :)
