Nice one, ooverdrive!!! The details are phenomenal! I wish the background was a little lighter so we could see more details, but it is a great shot regardless!
WoW. That's gorgeous. What lighting did you use?
I was busy processing these. I'd love your input.
That shots awesome Ooverdrive. I love the eyes!
As Tori asked how did you do it? I've been trying to do bees all week but I've had a bit much wind.
No problems you did pretty well (Here is a Wikipedia link with all the details)
The batter not only wears pads but also protective gloves, a helmet with a chin guard, a "male anatomical protector", often a thigh pad under their trousers and sometimes a forearm pad and chest pad. Getting hit in the body by a cricket ball even at the speed 13yos bowl at is not fun and can result in broken bones.
Just to finish this silliness.
What we have here is one batter who was in but went out walking in past another batter on his way out to go in. When the second batter got in he attempted to stay in but went out fairly quickly and is still outside kicking a Rugby ball to get over the experience. :)

we all try and take these masterpieces for photos but this type of photo is what we probably remember fondest. on the road, living out of the boot. nice memory. i'd also consider selling that to mitsubishi. i think its the only time in history a magna has driven that far for that long without busting.
great shot.
nice, i like this one.
Thanks all for commenting ,the bee was well lit by sun and I had to stop down to f22 or perhaps f32 and hence it went dark and it was just on board flash......I love my micro lens and think need a little more practice:):):) on it
