DPR, the image still looks great! Love those lights against the night sky!!!
Here is my backyard HDR-style. This is my first "exaggerated" HDR, made from 7 different exposures.

Considering it was taken off a moving platform, with consumer glass, hence I guess you were compromised for shutter speed, without having access to wider apertures, and had to rely on high ISO to get the shot, so maybe its not as sharp as you would've liked, but hey, it IS well exposed across the frame, it has an interesting composition (I like the little detail of the Opera House & city lights in the background), & I love the coloured light reflections and "texture" (?) of the water! :) All in all, I agree with Herc' & also think its a good shot!
cheers,
It's one of those shots that benefits from being downsized to 800 pixels across. The full image is not better and probably worse than the "web" version.
Unlike some of my new bug shots with the Tammie which are 500% better full size than their web versions.
Iso 1200 (from memory) has left lots of digital noise. Also I had to shoot in jpeg to save room on the card for the whole family trip and I've got jpeg compression artifacts in the sky. 1/8th of a second was a big ask for VR and it did very well but I've still got lots of motion blur in the full size version.
On the plus side the very short exposure has given me some water detail I'd normally lose by using a long exposure.
Oh and thanks for the positive comments, I don't mean to harp on the negatives, I'm bloody gratefull to have pulled any shot from the circumstances.
Right to left, my wife, her cousin, and a friend... They came down from PA to visit and absolutely love the beach, so I got some shot of them.

If I'd posted a pic of my wife in her bathers on the web I'd be the one who was shot or at least slowly gouged to death with a blunt spoon:)
I like the ascending height of the girls and the way you've kept the lovelly colours in the sky.
Nice car Saleh, incredible scenery you've got there.
Averaging a photo every 4 km for 3000km (2,000 miles) on my holiday.
Here's one for K1W1.
lol I know, she's already better than I am :( :D
Wow I like this picture a lot, something about the lighting and the shades in the sky. The skintones too, everything looks great! I'm sure it also helps that you have very beautiful models!
Nice! Just a random thought, I think that shot would look killer with a shallower DOF, so that the last motorcycle looks blurry. Its a great shot regardless, though!
