It's a lot more subtle now to tell it's been through NX. Nice post processing.
I think I prefer it for that reason but it's hard to compare a good shot against my memory of a good shot if you know what I mean.
I think you've mastered landscapes, don't post any more. Perfect your soccer skills instead.:D
Um I think the haloing is better Rooz, but it's still there. Especially in the gap where the tree branches in a circle-type shape on the right, and in the hollow where you can see under the log on the left, and just above that same log. You updated your original post, #7044, right? Meaning the version in that post is the new version?
Yeah, I know, little furry things are all I've been shooting recently.

That is really adorable. Did you do some kind of blur/Orton on it in PP, or does the puppy really look that dreamy?
No, in fact this was a quick and dirty edit in Picasa, I actually sharpened the photo overall (you can kinda see some grain in the bokeh). It's mostly just a matter of focusing on the nose or whiskers with a large aperture (f/3.2 here). If I'm lucky, the eyes are just out-of-focus enough to look soft and "dreamy".
lol...yes tori, that is supposed to be the "improved version". lmao
unfortunately i didnt notice the shadow on the young fellas face, all i needed was for him to take half a step forward. dumbass. otherwise i like this one.

Now he's into motorcycles.
Anybody want a 20k click D50 plus accessories. There is no point any longer.
BTW:
I have one word for you Mr Rooz. ATGATT
i did shoot a few with a d90 today. it was brilliant. i'll wait for the "official" reviews but to my eyes the d90 was cleaner at 1600 than the d300. i'll give it a good run soon.
But he's not panning them yet K1W1.
Love that border style Rooz, the drop shadow is beautifull. Nice exposure too.
