Nice shot but what is the dogs name?
Welcome to the forum mate, glad you've served your apprenticeship by wading through this massively long and fast moving thread.

It's my neighbour's dog, Kira :). And she hates balls :D. Whenever she sees one, se runs towards it and tears it appart. She probably had a bad experience with them when she still was a puppy, as they adopted her. But she is really nice :)
thats a nice dog shot. :)
never say never huh...notice the hack of a photographer in this image ? not only direct flash but he...missed the shot. lol
cropped by about 70%....wish i got closer now and i didnt screw around so much. :(
50/1.4 @ f2.8 1/30s.
Just think of it as another of those out of comfort zone moments that ultimately make live far more interesting.
Do you have a site of pictures? I'm shooting a wedding this summer and I'm trying to study as best as I can so I can do a decent job of it.

Not the best shot in the world, but if you have seen what happened to Lake Delton in Wisconsin, this seemed to capture the moment. This was taken about 11 hours after the flood water breached the road. After the road gave way, the lake drained in a few hours.... this boy and his dog just sat on the pier looking around. Smell was intense from muck and mud... a once-in-a-lifetime site.
