The colour shot for me Tim.
Problems displaying, no I've got about 70 A4 framed prints up around the house. Most are a few years old because I lack the time to replace them but they're all still nice.
Mostly they're just digitally archived figuring at some stage in the future I'll want to look back at them. In the mean time I just enjoying having taken them.
I agree with DPR; the color pic is better, more detail in the lower floor area.
I do print shots worthy of the paper and ink... so about 5%. ;) I agree on the color shot as the better of the two Tim.
Since we have had some windy conditions of late, the Bay has been pretty rough. Here is a shot at Point Pinos (Pines in Spanish). There is a Gull in silhouette in the center.
It printed well at 13x19... not so well at 8x10. Sometimes size matters. As a totally unrelated subject...Still thinking about increasing the size of my deck this summer.
Thanks for inputs guys. The colour version wins on that one. As for the BW, I guess only the statue stands out while everything else becomes complement of it.
D70Fan. That shot brings out emotion... it almost makes me depressed. :( That's why it's a good shot.
Haven't been here in what feels like ages....
Here's a couple photo from a recent Taylor Swift Concert.
Many more at my website: http://dylanbarnes.com/blog/2013/4/1...ift-orlando-fl
Did they allow your Nikon DSLR in the concert?
There is usually no issue as long as you don't have long lenses which is silly as most p&s superzoom cameras have way longer lenses than anything you could carry in for a DSLR.

I assumed he was the photographer not just a punter in the crowd. Great concert photos as always Dylan and the bit of leg in the first shot doesn't hurt it either
First pics from D7100
Just thought I would post some pics form the first week or so of usage of the D7100.
Only the moon shot was extensivly pp'd ( sharpened and Contrast boosted considerably)
Cardinal was near the top of a 40+ foot tree.
Flowers were shot with the Sigma 150, and very small, less than 1/4".
First impressions are very favorable, generally. Camera falls easy into my small hands, much like the D7k. Controls are similarly placed, with a couple of exceptions.
(+&- are reversed and 4-way is moved) I very much like the locking button on the mode sw. I keep turning it accidentally on the D7k. Screen is brighter and much easier to see. Viewfinder is much brighter to my eyes. I have not found the 51 point focus system any better than the 39 point one of the D7k.
Hope five is not too many. I didn't want to start a new thread just for D7100 pics.
I have taken a number of comparison shots which I might upload later if anyone is interested.
