I'm using an old D200, but I am going to try ISO1600 and one of my zooms in the next competition. Parents aren't allowed on the floor during competitions, so my 50 just doesn't have the reach and I end up having to heavily crop which makes the noise even more difficult to get rid of.
As for the DiamondSCattleCo, when I wrapped up my career as a business systems analyst, I moved back to the family farm where we've been raising cattle since the mid 1800s. My brand was a diamond over a backwards S, so Diamond S Cattle Co was born and I started using it from time to time. Also use PushRod on some other forums (nickname from a sideline business I had building performance diesel engines)
Nope, yellow belt. He's only 8 :) I thought it was odd for weapons so early on, but I'm not going to argue with her. Not only would she easily beat the stuffing out of me, the Mikisew dojo is regarded as one of the best in Canada. Last year at the Worlds, 5 Mikisew students ended up bringing home 23 medals in 15 events.
There, now I've rid of all that pent up pride :)
