When I first read the post this was what I saw "Rooz in the rain"!
I went to Melbourne a few times and on the drive towards Adelaide there were lots of wild kangaroos and emus, especially at sun down.
I agree that living in suburban Sydney there's nothing really inspiring that's why I didn't really have anything to post until coming from a short vacation overseas.
Another rooz in the zooz...
Another rooz, in the zooz, takin' a snooze. Could it have been too much booze?
Good zoo shot. We have very few rooz in our zooz.
Central Market candy store
Really like that candy store shot.
Three rock wallabies (cousins of the kangaroos).
"Watch me wallabies feed mate. Watch me wallabies feed. They're a dangerous breed mate. Watch me wallabies feed..."
All together now...
Those claws do look a little intimidating.
One of the lesser beaches here, Seaside Beach, but some days it is photogenic.
Sorry about the dust spot (D70 software dust-off doesn't always work)... one of the many reasons for buying the D7000 (it's in Nikons hands now).
Tie me kangaroos down, sport, tie me kangaroos down.
Let the Emus go loose, let the Emus go loose,
they're no further use, moose, so let the Emus go loose.
All together now..............
Sorry 'bout that but reading that triggered old memories.
Nice looking beach. If you've got a telephoto shot of it I'd be keen to see it with the lens depth compression making it all closer and more immediate?
Tim I like the processing.
