I would turn the image about 1 degree clockwise to make the vertical posts vertical instead of angled. It will improve the image greatly.

My son in U8...
Great shot. When my son was playing U8 the whole team would have been in that photo.
Thanks K1W1.
I know exactly what you mean. Last year in U7 they all played like that, and to some extend they still did that earlier this season. Apart from a boy who was a soccer freak and always ran off with the ball I could hardly separate anyone else.
So for two seasons now I'm starting to get separate shot of this boy... LOL. I guess I can't be blame for lack of patience.
Any football pro here?
Is that a foul?
Hard to tell from that angle. It really depends whether the tackler is behind the other player or not. He's not holding the shirt so the only issue would be his position.
I'm new to this stuff....
Does that mean a leg sweep, or contact to the leg, doesn't automatically get a foul?
Did the ref pay a penalty? I'd be surprised if he or she did.
Assuming that the tackler is coming from in front of the player with the ball (as I said you can't really tell from that angle) it looks like a legitimate tackle to me. Just getting your legs in the way happens all the time in Soccer.

Looks like a foul defender seems to be behind and his foot has clearly made contact with the ball past looks like obstruction but without seeing a video of the play it's really hard to say... But you can't impede the progress of the ball carrier in any way unless you make contact with the ball first so if he's legged him it's a foul.
Just a shot taken on auto mode, 18-55 lens.
Just like the capture of the spray...

Completely unedited, apart from a quick crop!
