So for $18 (in Australia) I get most of the tools I pay a couple of hundred dollars for in Lightroom? The app store sure makes a lot of software look grossly over priced.

After trying to learn some of the settings, this little dove stopped by for a visit while I was working on the back patio this morning. I like how it's framed by the rose bushes.

One thing you should try to do is keep your verticals and horizonals vertical or horizontal. The first picture that you posted would look good just rotated a little to make the stand vertical.
