This gentleman made my day. I was taking photos in Fitzroy Gardens this morning and he came up to me and started a conversation about cameras (he had a D90 and was also taking pics). All of a sudden he just spontaneously did this, he was so happy and enjoying himself so much that I've been smiling all day.
Thank you sir.

Sorry Rooz, I couldn't resist -- great photo! :)
A little bit of lightning last night.....
Cyclocross in the parklands. Gotta love autumn, darn cold (15C) but gotta love it.
I usually like spring here, but this year we have been so wet I am afraid I will get webbed feet. I haven't been able to take any of my usual riverbank walks. We have had one period since last Nov. with 5 consecutive days free of rain or snow.
We have finally started to see some of the usual spring flowers, a month late (Cold and wet). This is one of my favorites, a little bloom about a quarter of an inch(6.2mm) across.
