I heard Toledo had a nice zoo. Cincinnati has a light show at their zoo too.
indeed cincy we actuaslly do have a really nice zoo and quite a nice light show and i do love the new tax levys eveyr year for the zoo! dang money grubbers.

Looks handheld, what ISO was the camera set at? With that grain it looks like 1600.
Yes it was hand held, I had it set to night mode, and after looking it says in the exif data that the ISO was unknown.
I didn't have a tripod with me, and no where to really set it down as it was all sand around me, was scared to do that! :)
I had the card with me and put it in the camera and it shows it at ISO 1600.

Bummer man, that picture would have been ALOT better if you had a tripod, because then you could lower your ISO1600 to ISO200 and not get any grain...or blur.
I agree, live and learn and I was just so pumped to be there and seeing it, the pictures were just an added bonus.
I saw one guy had one of those table top tripods and his remote and I thought, crap that is a great idea.
