Thanks for the Kind words on my Soccer Pic. Im looking try and get some of my shots sold. Do you guys think that type of image is one that would sell? What about pics wiith kids playing Soccer and the Soccer ball isnt in the shot?

Parents and particularly grandparents want photos of the kids not the ball. As long as the face is visible and in focus for most of them the rest doesn't matter.

This is a shot where the camera metered for the sky to make it a neutral grey as it always does. It was brought up quite a few stops to make it pure white. I would never have been able to do that at ISO 1600 on my old camera.

I like the shot Andrew but the copyright notice absolutely ruins it and in this case is simply a waste of space because it would be easy to remove or crop out.

If you are worried about copyright on this image a large watermark across the whole image would be no more distracting but would at least serve the purpose of making the image difficult to steal.

I know what you mean, I've made it an action in photoshop to resize and add the copyright notice to photos I upload to flickr. It was just a routine, but unnecessary on this shot. And as you said, very easy to remove on a plain white area.
