Shot another show last night with some pretty big names (big for me so far). Some of my favorites:

omg...they are breathtaking.
thanks. best show to shoot ever. There was so much lighting, I was shooting at ISO 800. It was a blast
Nice shots. I went out with a few people tonight and took a few boring photos of stuff that didn't really move. To make it interesting, I rolled around on the ground to capture this handheld photo. ;)
While I was at Healesville sanctuary I watched the birds of prey exhibit. Here's a wedge tailed eagle, the biggest at the show. The 70-300VR had a hard time tracking the birds fly, but at least it's fairly sharp on a still bird at 300mm.

^ Like this one a fair bit..
Did you have to?
Here is what will happen soon.
My mobile phone will go ring, ring and when I answer it this voice will say something like, "I'm in town later in the week. Want to go to the Healesville Sanctuary?" So we will go there, my photos will be shit and his will be spectacular and I know that the coffee there is fairly ordinary so I won't even get any joy from that side of things.
Oh well, I'm off to the Moto GP in the rain tomorrow. At least he won't be there.
:D:D:D
I just wanted to have post 12,000 in this thread. :)
Congratulations to everybody who has kept this the best thread on DCResource and one of the best threads on photographic forums imo.
