Hey guys and gals,
Im new here and fairly new to photography.
Got my D90 about 5 months ago and just wanted to post some shots and get feedback. I have been learning a lot from this great site and have a long ways to go.
Im an artist (day job as a Graphic Designer)and can do about anything creative and just want to get really good at photography...I hope..haha.
Here are some shots of my dog "BOSS" and my 69 Camaro.
Oh man I'm jealous, 67-69 Camaros are my all-time favorite cars! PLEASE post more pics of it!
Will that dog bite me if I try to borrow that car?:D
Get a Cicular Polarizer. It will help reduce reflections in shiny paint jobs and windows.
It helps with the sky when the sun is at about a 90 degree angle to the lense. It can really make the sky real blue.
Really nice car.
Welcome to the forum.
I did very little to this as far at the sky and the car go. I did get rid of some other cars and some people. I turned them into grass and trees.
I made some prints with a darker sky that looked cool but the tops of the trees looked funny. The tops were lit up.
I wish I had more of the back rim showing but I think it would have lost some impact if I was at a different agnle.
@sako1: Great pic of Boss (aka Inspector Rex). I love the way German Shepherds look so intelligent, even when they're only thinking of their next meal.
@Tomcat: OK, I give up. Where's the door handle? :)
My 2000th post. Who'd have ever thought I'd get to 2,000.:p
16-85VR at F/22, ISO400, no polariser - forgot to take it.
Taking Lukas' advice about forground, midground and background interest plus leading lines a bit far perhaps:o
And here's post 2001.
Like that portrait TDI.
Wasn't brave enough to post this on my milestone as someone might have said I've wasted time trying to turn a snapshot artsy;)
You are but a mere youngster compared to old guys like Rooz. :)
