I've got to say (and I hate to admit this) that it's great to see you heading back to photographing small things. I've missed the regular doses of Sydney micro life.

Snatched this shot as quickly as poss
I was just about to do a puncture repair on a bike when I saw this lovely butterfly sitting
on the tyre of the upturned bike.
I barely had time to grab the camera, with whatever lens it happened to
have on, and got one shot off - then when I tried for a closer shot it flew
(Not a macro lens - so this is as close as it gets!)
Took this the other day. I don't know if it qualifies as an HDR, but it's a blend of the same raw file processed twice for shadows and highlights.
