Sir Les,
Looks like a fitter and welder's nightmare getting that structure right.
More like a glazier's nightmare -- there's not a rectangular or square pane of glass in that entire wall.
Ferry Building and Coit Tower from Pier 14 in San Francisco. Taken on an early morning last month. Hopefully I haven't already posted this one. I can't remember.

Seek and Find by Lukas Wenger Photography, on Flickr
Its a new one Lukas. Nice placement of Coit tower in the space of the sign.
This has been my go to spot lately. Yesterday I finally got some good light there. I shot this with more on the left, but after the fact I decided the rest of the dock was too much of a distraction.

Quick Retreat by Lukas Wenger Photography, on Flickr
God, I wish I still enjoyed getting up at 4:30am... and could still eat donuts without gastrointestinal reaction.
Getting to be a City scape documentour now... I like it.
I know! I'm kind of in a rut with the seascapes. The city is the best option at sunrise, but for sunsets I should be hitting the beach. I need to make a more conscious effort to get back into it. For the record I hate waking up early, but I do it anyway. It helps that I have to get up pretty early during the week.
Same morning as the previous post, but taken just after sunrise.

Extended Embarcadero Exposure by Lukas Wenger Photography, on Flickr
Since I typically work until midnight, it makes it tough to get up before about 8am. Maybe one of these years I can re-retire. The same scheduling makes it tough to catch most good sunsets. But hey, I can look at yours and say "oh that's what it looks like". ;)
