I saw mentioned here there is a name for the properties imbedded in the image. Things like date, f-stop, shutter speed, etc.

How do I extract this info from the image?

Thank you.

The information is called "EXIF" data and it can be viewed on the software bundled with the FZ20 or FZ5 (there is some software for the SD card with shows all the info on the photo).

If you use XP you have all you need
Right click the photo >choose properties > Then summary > and then advanced.

If you are using another operating system then most photo editors can show the exif. Irfanview displays more Info than most and its free.

If you want to see the exif of someone Else's photo on the net.( provided they did not strip it)

A program called I Exif is pretty good and free.

That's exactly the type of program I was looking for. Thank you so much.
