My pictures always come out too dark. I dont like the S2 histogram

I really wish they had a live histogram

Actually I shoulda raised the aperture way more

all these photos the AV was at F8

I was afraid that i might not get enough dop so thats why i set it at F8

I did not have a tripod with me at that time

no problem they look better now

Anyone wanna help me get proper exposure without a histogram?

I coulda sworn the histogram said the photo was balanced or maybe i just dont know how to read it properly

I know if its too much to the left its to dark and to much to the right its to bright

but how about how high or low it is? vertically

The Shenandoah Valley is a beautiful part of the country!

If I can offer some constructive criticism, I think you should work on getting your horizons more level.

yeah I really gotta work on that, i had a hard time leaning against the car holding the camera next to my body

did the best i could ;)

Had to use F8 or else it wouldnt focus

not even 1/20th shutter value is enough to expose

shoulda used f6-f7

I live in VA, and have been in that area many times.

Since others are Photoshopping your first picture, I thought I'd give it a try. Here it is with a straight horizon ;) , and some level, saturation, and sharpening adjustment.
