I know this question has been bounced around this forum before, but perhaps there is new news out there.....had my FZ5 for about 6 weeks now and took it on a two week trip to Galapagos Islands. It worked fantastic - took over 1000 really good shots of all kinds. But....would like to add a wide angle conversion lens before my next trip so I can get better panoramic shots. Suggestions would be appreciated - all price ranges will be considered - low priced stuff on eBay to items in local camera stores. 55mm threads would be my first choice rather than use an adaptor ring, although the plastic threads on the FZ5 lens hood adaptor are terrible.
