Portland Rose Test Garden

If any ofyou guys come out to Portland Oregon this summer check out the Rose test garden at Washington Park. Here are some pics from yesterday June 25. I have a lowly Kodak 7590 camera.

Nice Shots. Typically, from a picture point of view, the camera is of little consequence. We dSLR shooters are generally full of ourselves, so don't hesitate to post on our account. ;)

I was just up there (Washington Park Rose Test Garden) a couple of weeks ago and have not had a chance to sort through the 300+ shots. A simply mind-boggling variety of roses.

I missed the festival by about a week.

Thanks for the compliments. It really is a photographers dream up there. I really like the 7590 it does a good job on colors. Still I cant wait to get my hands on a Nikon D70 when I get the money for one.

Then it's down the road to the Bridgeport Brewery... ;) Nothing like roses and an IPA on a warm summers day. :)

Missed the Portland Rose Festival? The OBF is comming, July 28-31... On the Waterfront... Be there.

The D70 body is now $749 (clearing for the D70s). Same price as the D50.

George, Portland is a great place to be in the summer. The microbrews and warm weather is a great combo. Waterfront also is a great place for pictures on a sunny summer day.
