I have a problem, I was takin some photos and I discover that in some small areas of the image appears to be a color problem (Like a glow in wave shapes). Can anyone tell what could be the problem? Can that problem be the camera or the lens.
I only see the problem from 24 to 50 or 70 mm (24-120 VR) and with some specific subjects (Like this black fabric). I also have a 180 mm 2.8 ED but the problem does not appear. I don't have other wide angle lens to test if is the camera?
I marked the area where the problem is.
I don;t know if it is a moire problem

I have a D70s recently new
24-120 VR 3.5-5.6

The D70 suffered from this but I was under the impression it was corrected with the D70s ... Nikon owners usually use software to make the needed adjustments.

I would say that looks like moire. If the photo was taken in Raw format, Nikon Capture has a tool that is supposed to remove moire. I'm not sure how well it works, though, as I have never noticed any moire in any of the photos I have taken. Let us know if it removes this.
Ray.

They said to me that that preoblem appears in black polyester. I don't know if that is correct

Could be. Since we have no comparison with wool it would be hard to say. Definately weird, and viewed or printed at less than 100% crop probably would not be visible. Since it's black simply remove the color from that spot, or airbrush it out. Of course if you have Nikon Capture it will remove the undesirable pattern.

I've never been a big fan of polyester. ;)
