Some FZ5 pics and where can I get another battery?

On the principle that examples are good, the newer pictures on my flickr account (http://www.flickr.com/photos/timabbott/) are taken with a DMC FZ5, much better than my old Olympus point-and-shoot.

Can anyone recommend a source for a spare battery?

In fact I just used 6 different makes of batteries on my vacation and the one that I did not like was labled Power 2000. I really forget where I bought it but it is the worst of 8 batteries I have for 2 cameras.

I am not an owner of a fz5 camera but if genece got the battery on the link given I just copied and pasted on pricegrabber.com and came up with a price of just over $23. Just try this out to see if it what you want. I own the fz20 and got an extra battery from calcellular.com for $19.99 + shipping but the battery I got did not show your camera as being one of the ones it supported. Also when I checked on the overstock.com site and went through the copy and paste it said this battery is for the fz1. But if the numbers match it should work

Two of them do a perfect job inside my FZ5. You can take hundreds of photos.

You really think that battery is better than the one that came with the camera?

1000 mah and 7.4 volts, makes one wonder.

FZ-5: 7,2V 680 mAh
Max(x)cell 7,4V 1000 mAh - 30% more power
Both Li-ion - same voltage.
They are sold as replacement for Lumix FZxx and they fit.
They are really cheap and you would not buy a second battery from panasonic??!
