LCD protector for KODAK 6490, DX7440, DX7630 Etc

Do any of you use an LCD protector such as sold on EBay. If so, what is your opinion? If not, what is your opinion?

Just bought a 7440 and one week later I bought a screen proctector at Staples for $10. Haven't put it on yet but it should protect the screen if you have a neck strap for the camera and it rubs against your belt buckle or one of your shirt buttons. Living in Florida we have been running away from all the hurricanes and haven't had time to install it yet. npphotog

The protector is described of having only 1.8" diagonally, I doubt that it will fit to 2.2" screen of 6490.

Sorry, thought I got it at Staples. I bought it a Sears. Called a Digital Camera Universal Screen Protector. Cost around $9.95. Packages contents include enough to make 12 screen protectors of the following sizes - 1.5" all the way to 2.2". I wet and dry cleaning wipe and 1 squeegee card. Complete directions on the back. Look for a Yellow hang up thing. Gives you a list of all the digital cameras it fits. Now all I have to do it to get it on. Living here in the Tampa Bay area of Florida all we have been doing is "getting out of town" to avoid the hurricanes. Willard
