I'm sure these attachments are showing up a bit smaller than people would like for analysing them but anyway.....
All were taken on an Olympus c740. I'll be ugrading to a Panasonic FZ20 shortly but seeing as I'm only at it for about 3 months I'll try and get more familiar with all those f.stops and meterings first. Better camera doesn't necessarily mean better shots.
No filters or post processing used on any of them btw.
Maybe it shows
Anyway, any comments appreciated.

Just a couple more that I couldn't fit on my op.

clinger - They are definitely small and hard to tell much about. From what I can tell, I really like the 2nd shot on both posts. Some of the others looked interesting but were too small & dark to tell much. Thanks for sharing!

clinger,
while i would also agree they're quite small to critique the resolution v. digital noise, what i can tell you is you have some excelent composition going on.
the second shot, with the celtic cross headstone and the moon demonstrates a good understanding of the "rule of thirds".
the fourth shot (i think) but the one with the dark silohette of the mid-eastern structure with the orange sky is exttremly dramatic in terms of contrast, and a very beautiful picture.
in the next series, the B&W with the beached boat in the bottom left hand coner is another demonstration of solid composition.
i encourage you to optimize your photos for web, so that when you host them on an external site, or upload here that they are large enough for everyone to appreciate. i personally optimize my images to 800x600 @ 200kb.
keep up the fine calibre of work!

Thanks for the encouraging feedback. I suppose my main concern at the moment is actually the compostion which thankfully, is obvious enough despite the ridiculously small size I've managed to end up with :o
Phistio - that "mid east" shot is actually the Vatican in Rome. It's taken from the same rooftop as the colourful shot before it. Amazing how 2 shots of the same place can look so different isn't it?
Strangely, one of my own favourites, and one that my friends have also admired, is the "empty cafe tables at sunset". Maybe I like it for the wrong reasons, i.e. the memories it brings back rather than for it's own merits.
Anyway, glad to see I don't have to bin the camera just yet. I just have to learn how to make my pics suitable for uploading now.
Cheers.
