I read that Nikon 6T and MCON-40 are great macro lens and work well with fz20, but I couldn't find any direct comparison between the two. Which one of these give a better image quality? How about other macro lens, Raynox, Canon 250D, 500D, MCON-35, B-Macro, are they on par or better or worst than 6T and MCON-40?
What is the difference between MCON-40, MCON-35 and B-Macro?
Can MCON be stacked up like 6T and 5T? Why do people generally stack 6T with 5T and not two 6T?
Thank you.

Thank you.
Anything can be stacked together it is the photographic results that count. The reason people stack 6 and 5Ts or 3 and 4T is because when not stacked each lens creates a different magnification.
As lovelife said, each filter has a different magnification. The 5T is 1.5 diopter and the 6T is 2.9 diopter. So with these two macro filter you can have 1.5, 2.9 and 4.4. I can't help you with a comparison, but the Nikon macros are very good.

I have been unable to find a comparison of close up, macro, lenses on the INTERNET.
Is there a site? Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I am not into macro photography as yet and need help choosing the right set of lenses.
Thank you

I have just finished taking some pictures of the Nikon 4T +2.9 vs the DCR250 +8. Give me a day to post it.

I am deciding between 6T, Canon 250D, MCON-35 or MCON-40 and DCR150. Where can I find the comparison?
Do all of them allow you to zoom through without vignetting?
What are theeir working distances? I read that for 6T is 25-30cm, is that mean I have to be at least 25cm away from the subject? How about the others?
Is there any difference between MCON-35 and MCON-40 apart from the thread size?
Thanks.

Sorry, two further questions please.
Does stacking 6T and 5T reduce image quality?
Does using step-ring with 250D cause vignetting?
Thanks.
