FZ5 Rattle?

My new FZ5 arrived on Friday. I've been using it all weekend and love the results both indoors & outdoors. Blows away my old Powershot A40.

My only concern so far is that something inside the camera seems to move around whenever I handle the camera. It feels like the lense inside is a bit loose. I wouldn't really call it a rattle as it make very little noise. My friends commented that it feels like a cheap camera when they picked it up, basically because it didn't feel "solid".

Is this normal for the fz5 or is it possible something came loose in shipping?

It is completely normal. Someone even mentioned in a different thread that it is actually addressed in the manual somewhere, though I don't recall where nor do I recall seeing it in the manual myself. Rest assured, however that is is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

Thanks JN99. I went looking for the post you mentioned. The "Search the DCRP" function didn't find anything, I went back several weeks of posting but couldn't find any reference. Then I found the forum search box in the orange menu ( :o doh!).
