Sigma EF-500 DG ST

Can Sigma EF-500 DG ST be used with FZ20? It’s a TTL flash which FZ20 doesn’t support but the trigger voltage seems to be in the safe range (according to Strobe Trigger Voltages site).

Has anyone use this flash? How is it performance?
