Hi guys,

I came across these two camera cases on ebay:

Hard Case:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=64337&item=7522388789&rd=1

Soft case:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=64337&item=7521775811&rd=1

Anyone have any experiences with these cases especially the Hard case as it could protect my delicate SD200.

Thanks in advance for the help

I'm moving this to the Canon forum where it belongs. And please don't "bump" your posts, as this is against the forum rules.

For my canon sd300 i got the smallest lowepro case. The first link that you posted,I was also looking at that case, it seemed like it would do a bit of a better job protecting the camera's LCD screen, and the camera DID fit in it, but the camera people said that the Lowepro was the best. I think it was the z-5 or something. It fits nice and snug and I like it a lot. The one your looking at is almost the same as like an eye-glasses case, but not quite as hard, it still has some give to it.

Your best bet is to just go to a store and look at them, considering they are really not that expensive at all (less than 20 at least, i think that mine was 10, and once you add in the shipping from ebay, going to a store might be better)

**Oh and I just looked at the second case you had listed, and it doesn't look like there is room to fit an extra battery, and it even says it has no extra room. For me thats a must, I want to be able to have an extra battery in my case. And the Lowepro one, even w/ an outside pocket, is still incredibly small i throw it right in my purse.

The main cases that we sell for the sd200 are:
1. Canon Case designed for the series: 24.99
2. Lowepro Rezo 15: 14.99
3. Kennith Cole Reaction small case (leather, Nylon, Neoprene). 14-20.

I have the canon case for my sd400. It's sharp looking, leather. It doesn't have a ton of extra size. By that I mean the camera fits snug and you can fit the case in your pocket. Whereas with a lot of cases they have extra room for pockets and such. It has hard inserts on the back and sides to protect the lcd screen and keep buttons from getting pushed. These inserts do an excelent job at that.

There is a drawback with the compact size. I wish that it had extra space for more cards.
