Powershot Pro I / Rumors of Pro II?

I'm strongly considering the Powershot Pro I but I've read more than a few "blah" reviews about it. Anyways, I've read on other boards that a Pro 2 may or not be in the works.

Anyone care to weigh in as to the likelihood of a Pro 2?

799 you can buy an XT for 200 more. I think the "xt" is the pro2.

Canon makes more money on lenses and addons for XT then the pro1. I think you'll get a G7 or a hybrid G7/Pro2 maybe but Pro line I bet is dead.

i have a pro1 and wouldn't recommend it...have a few issues with it.

i would look into the canon Dslr's or the new Nikon D50 that's out now.....it's getting good reviews as far as the NY times goes and the review site dpreview.com. no user reviews on it yet on this site or the dpreview one. that's what i'm waiting to hear.
