hi
i have a canon powershot s45.... it is a very nice camera but after a few mintues of functioning properly, it will start taking pictures on its own. It will continuously take pictures every like 10seconds till the memory card is all filled up or i turn the camera off. I have tried different shooting modes and and reseting the settings to factory defaults. I have tried a different battery but still with no luck.
When it is in this messed up mode, the display does not show the aiaf focus box's but the camera will flash the blue focusing light first and then take the picture.
The camera is no longer under warrenty and if anyone has any suggestions or solutions, please help me before i have to resort to trying to send it away :(
