Right now I'm interested by these 2 digital cameras:
1-Canon PowerShot S1 IS
2-Minolta Konica Z3
Witch camera will be the best to take picture of boxing competition. During those events, the ring side is very dark but the ring itself has plenty of light. To shoot the best picture possible I need a camera that can make a rapid focus (small shutter lag).
The Minolta Konica Z3 seem to be the best, that camera is advertised à the fastest of it's category. But there's no Z3 review. Assuming that the Z3 will be a bit like the Z2 I'm a bit worried. The picture quality with the Z2 was good, but not great did somebody know if they improve the picture quality ? Did the Z3 now have a picture quality who can challenge the Canon PowerShot S1 IS ?
The Canon PowerShot S1 IS is slower, but the picture quality seems to be very good. But in some review people complain about the reliability of auto focus... I select this camera based on it's overall picture quality but it's focus speed (shutter lag) seem to be quite slow...
So witch one is the best, people here have test the Z3 ?
Can you suggest me an other model (same price range) ?
