Hi- looks like Fuji just started offering a $30 rebate for the F10 or Z1 - I had to fill out a form to get it but I though I might spare someone else the hassle :-)

Warning: BEFORE you buy the F10 or Z1, call (800)800-FUJI to make sure that the store you are buying from is "an authorized dealer" - I just found out that COSTCO is NOT an authorized dealer but Amazon, Best Buy, Circuit City Definitely Are. I had them check "Beach Camera" and they also qualified. Presumably, Sam's Club is excluded as well...

I called and the only ones they would tell me were Best Buy, Circuit City, and Amazon.com. I was going to buy at B&H Photo, but I might buy at amazon.com now. I'm not sure. Do you think they would cover returns well if something went wrong?

Amazon is great for returns IMHO....Also, if you have 5 mins, call and ask specifically about B&H -there's a good chance they're valid-the guy said "wholesale clubs" like Costco are not included

kimnicho-
Thanks for posting the tip on the Fuji F-10. The F-10 is a great digital camera and the ability use high ISO numbers (up to ISO 1600) is fantastic for me.
Here is an example.

The only consolation I got with this post as I bought my camera about two weeks and am not eligible for the rebate is the two previous pics. Wow!! It at least gives me hope that my cam has the ability to take some awesome pics.

I'm new -- both to digital photography and this site. However, thanks to Jeff's wonderful reviews (and the many posts from speaklightly), I've pretty much decided on the F10.
I called Fuji, and when asked which stores would qualify for the rebate, the representative (Anthony) said, "Amazon, Best Buy, and Circuit City". When I asked if those were the only stores, he said, "Those are the stores we are recommending."
So I asked specifically about B&H, and I could hear paper shuffling. Anthony then confirmed that B&H is, indeed, a qualifying store for the rebate.
My guess, then, is that most any reputable store would qualify... but they're not too eager to tell you that.
