Well, I know I should not have but it happened -- my lens has a finger print smear.

I have cleaned it with a micro-fiber cloth and it does not appear to be on the lens anymore, but when I fog the lens I can see an area where this print was.

Does pana recommend a cleaning sloution for its Lieca glass? If yes, where can I get it from and what is the procedure to clean it?

I had the same problem before and I was suggested a lens pen at RadioShack. It works wonders, it totally removed the finger print off the lens and there is no remains what-so-ever... here is the pen......

You can also use Isopropyl alcohol with a microfibre cloth.

Iso Alc is fast to disappear and is the same stuff that cassette tape heads are cleaned with, or CD player lens etc
