For this specific mode, is there enough benefits to warrant the $ for say an ultra II card?
I heard things like, if you use standard 1gig card (since im looking to get 1gig), you wont be able to shoot continuous video and it will end at 30sec, 60 sec or whatever. This is very important to me, because that is why i want a 1gig card, to be able to shoot 8mins for say of continuous video. But as far as video playback goes, will a high speed card play video more smoothly or something? Also slower transfer times obviously (which I can most likely live with, since im already using a card reader), and slower for stutter/continuous shots (doubt ill ever use it, since im simple a P&S user).
But as far as functioning the cam and video playback, there seems to be no difference.
