So I just bought a new Canon A510 and I have taken some pictures. How do I edit them on the computer like cropping and stuff. Is there a special program and tutorial? I am new to this.

Canon must have supplied a CD with the camera. That would have the image editor program - so just install that. Alternatively, if you have Photoshop or anything like that you can also use that. You can also download Gimp, which is Free - though an overkill for cropping and stuff.

Take a look at Picasa. It is great for simple editing and cropping. It is easy to use and isn't to complicated to work.

Canon supplies its ZoomBrowser and PhotoStudio software with the camera. Just pop the CD into your computer, follow the instructions to install, and you should have no trouble cropping and editing with it for basics.
