My mom and I want to get my dad a new digital camera for his 49th birthday. Right now he has a nikon coolpix thats 2 point something MP and takes pretty crappy pics (since its only 2MP that makes sense).
heres our criteria so far
- he wants a camera where the batteries can be charged IN the camera, so the camera itself plugs into the wall. the only ones I've seen do this is the HPs... does anyone know another brand that does that with their cameras?
- needs to have an optical view finder
- buttons big enough for his hands, and so he can see them w/o his glasses on ;) (so prob not an ultra compact digital)
- prob about 3-4 MP, at least 3
- around / between $200 and $300
- takes sharp good colored pics (he hates how his nikons come out really blury)
Thats really it. I wanted to get him the Nikon 5900 but it doesn't plug into the wall and for some reason he really wants one that does that :rolleyes:
Anyone know what cameras do that or how i can search specifically for that in a camera?
