Hello,
thinking about those two models, but cannot decide which is better. Here are details:
Budget
* What budget have you allocated for buying this camera?
$250-$350
Size
* What size camera are you looking for?
Size does not matter, but of course smaller will be better :)
Features
How many megapixels will suffice for you? 3-5
* What optical zoom will you need? Ultrazoom = 10x-12x
* How important is “image quality” to you? 8-9
Do you care for manual controls? Yes
General Usage
* What will you generally use the camera for?
Mostly out door taking photos of trips, nature. Sometimes filming. Taking micro shots and photos of moving things.
* Will you be making big prints of your photos or not?
Mostly photos will be on PC, but sometimes I'll do small prints.
Will you be shooting a lot of indoor photos or low light photos?
Not many, but I like taking photos at night.
Will you be shooting sports and/or action photos?
Yes.
