ready for the next hi end cam

I think I'm ready for the bigger size cam, which one should I consider??

Should I get something with wide angle? or long zoom? It would start at 8 megapixel? I wont be using external flash nor add on lenses - that would be the next step - but not now.

Any camera recommendation please?? I was checking on G6, C8080, Rebel, A2, Sony 828 I would want only using SD or CF card.

It is hard to help. You have to first realize the priorities you have. WIll you be taking images if wildlife? sports? night scenes? indoor shooting?.....?

Then start to ask, otherwise you are lost. None of the maschines you mentioned covers all for 100 %.

Anyhow, I am not much sure about the prosumer 8Mpix cameras - you won't beaty the physics. Onse the pixel becomes too small, it is hard to keep the noise low...

The best solution is probably dSLR, but that's probably a different story
