Amy,

My Sony Mavica used to take pictures with a greenish tint. Usually comes from indoor shots with the flash when the flouresent lighting is too strong. My 8800 automatically adjusts for flouresent lighting, though recently I've begun to manually set this feature and not use the flash.

The quality of my indoor shots improved greatly. I hope your camera has the same option. :D

Attached shot, inside, Nikon 8800, maximum zoom, no flash, flouresent light setting, f-4.5.
