Alright, so my parents are getting me a digital camera for graduation. We're basically down to two: a Fuji E510 for $199 or a Canon A95 for $299. The Fuji seems like a damn good camera and the Canon seems like an incredible camera. My question: is the Canon worth paying an extra $100 for?

It depends -- what are you going to be photographing?

The Fuji has a wide-angle lens, which comes in handy when shooting land/cityscapes, or taking group shots indoors.

The A95 is undoubtedly the better camera, but IMO not worth the extra $100, especially since the zoom levels, flash range, and weight are fairly similar.

Are you going to mail-order, or purchase locally? I ask because you can get the A95 for about $260 from B&H Photo. I wouln't pay $100 more, but I might be much more inclined to do so if it were just $60 more....
