I did a lot of reading but can't make up my mind. First I wass thinking about the F10 but I realy like the big zoom of the FZ5.

Does someone have an idea wich one makes better pictures.

Mostly I'm taking pictures of the kids (inside the house also) and making pictures on hollidays.

I'm just not sure I use the zoom a lot, and if I use zoom I noticed in the shop that everything is a little 'shaky' does the FZ5 take sharp pictures anyway.

From the other site I like the compact of the F10 and the good reviews from users.

It's a difficult choice, who can help!

I think the FZ5 will be a better choice unless you are looking for a "thin" ultracompact which as you know, it's not. I have the "big brother" the Z20 and it takes Awesome pictures of my 2 little ones. The zoom is esp. nice b/c you can shoot from a distance and not "interrupt" them - you get a lot more candid/natural poses this way. All of the Panasonic cameras including their ultracompacts have "image stabilization" so it produces Very Sharp Pictures...I can't talk about the F10 since I have never handled it but I don't think you can go wrong with the FZ5 - check out BOTH reviews at dpreviews.com

I have the FZ5, and I get clear picture at 10x zoom, from my 3rd floor balcony to the pool, I'm enjoying it too much. :D

The FZ's zoom makes for a whole new level of fun! It can also give you sharper, higher resolution shots, as you don't have to crop the picture 'cause you can get in close with the zoom.
