I have recently encountered problems with my color printing - I am not getting the proper amount of red in my prints - everything has a greenish hue. After running the cleaning (both normal and deep) operations and the nozzle check and print alignment as recommended by Canon I contacted tech support and was told that the print head was in need of replacement.
THe printer is 13 months old and is not used extensively - so I wonder what is going on here.
Is there a way to remove the print head and subject it to manual cleaning to remove dried ink clogs? I would like to try this before buying another print head.
