So the canon A80 is better than the canon A75 because of a larger CCD is what i have been told. How does this determin better picture quaity? I have no clue how it works. Is it that big of a difference in picture quality or does it really matter? :(
A70 which use the 1/2.7" type CCD (5.3 x 4.0 mm) the A80 has a 1/1.8" type CCD (7.2 x 5.3 mm)
I have no clue what this means!

For an all-in-one camera, in the 3MP to 4MP range, I don't think this is an issue worth worrying about, since you are not going to be using ISO greater than 400.
It's a non-issue.
