My canon A70 just died a few days ago...Canon says it will cost around $100 and 10 weeks....Just not worth it to me, even though I have only had it for just under 1.5 years.
I am now on the market for a replacement. Some of the criteria I am working with is:
1) AA Batteries
2) Good Quality Point & Shoot in auto mode
3) Some manual capabilities, since I like to play around a little
4) > 3x Optical Zoom (The 3x zoom on the canon was too limiting
5) My preferenece is to say with CF media, since I have an investment into a 256MB and 64MB, however, I do not want to limit myself because of that.
I am looking for all of this in the $450 price range.
