Does anyone know if you can edit EXIF date in PhotoshopCS, or iView Media Pro? If not, is there another one that works on the Macintosh? I would like to attach some data to film photos that I scan and upload, such as what the camera used was, date the image was taken, etc. Being able to do that would be great.

On PC, a software named Exif Editor can do that, I don't know how about apple flat.

I must admit that I'm under the impression that EXIF data is only created by a digital camera as a header for the image file. I'm not aware that any other device, notably a scanner, creates that sort of header detail. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, just that I'm not aware of it.

So, given that I'm right, there's no way that your scanner is going to create EXIF data for you to edit in any case.

Should I be wrong then there are several utilities on the web (for Windows I hasten to add) that allow you to edit the EXIF data. Like bloodog, I can't talk about the Mac.

If you use PC, Opanda PowerExif Editor (http://www.opanda.com/en/pe/index.html) can help you to do the job, the pro version can do it as a batch.
