SD300 vs. SD400...

I'm getting mixed feelings about the two. I am monitarily
confined to one of the two(no SD500 for me...). All the issues about the
LCD worry me. I like the idea of a high speed 2.0 USB(but does it REALLY matter?). I've also heard cool things about "my color" and the
new flash feature...Those three things make it seem like it the $35-40 dollar difference is easily justified. I'm pretty new to the whole
digital thing, but understand the basics. I will very rarely
be making prints 8.5x11, so the pixels really aren't the issue.
The idea that the SD can hold more pics on a lower pixel cam
is sort of a selling point for the SD300. I generally like to have
the "better" toys, but sometimes more dough doesn't always
mean better. PLEASE help!!!
P.S.- I just recieved my SD300 today, but I'm really second
guessing myself. Thanks.

1.Supposedly the LCD issue only happens to a minority

2.If you want to hold more photos on the SD400 you can always reduce the quality.

3. The My colours feature looks fun, but im sure the novelty will wear off quickly.

Personally i believe you should get the SD400, but its your choice in the end

with the SD300 for about a day now, and I kinda figured
that the USB thing really doesn't matter to me...I'm never
gonna print any bigger than 8X10 and with the
software, I might as well just edit colors if I have to
post-upload. The true selling point for me is the
fact that the 4 and 5mp use the same
CCD(I feel with the 400 it's almost like a Porsche driving on 4 spare tires)
tires), and I really do see SLIGHTLY more noise
in the SD400 pics. Point being I think if Canon would've
used a CCD at least closer to the SD500, it would
have been a no brainer...
What do you think?

Well if Canon would have used a CCD closer to the SD500 then the camera would have been bigger, Canon has created one of the smallest 5 MP cameras, which rivals the Credit Card slim competition, the Canon SD400 undeniably takes better photos than the credit card type camera competition.

I'm one of people who think that the noise on the SD400 doesn't bother me too much, i can get rid of alot of it in NoiseNinja (if i can properly figure out how to use it that is lol). The addition of the low light booster on the LCD is meant to help alot aswell.

Frankly the SD300 and SD400 are both great cameras, and i think they have got far too much criticism for what they can achieve at such a small size.
Right now im in the process of deciding between the Canon SD400 and the FUJI F10. FUJI F10 takes better photo in all conditions, but i just love the feel and look of CANONs and the size is great !
