My 350D/XT came with a small amount on the sensor. Used a blower brush less the brush to get what I'd say is 99% clean. For most dust specks to even show up in your images you'd need to take a photo focused at Infinity of a blue sky with the lens aperture set to at least F/22. It's not a problem as some people make it out to be.
See if you can locate the specks in this F/22 image:

I change lenses a lot, perhaps too much. :p
I shoot in very dusty conditions too. I hardly ever get dust. When I change lenses I always have my back to the wind and try to swap asap. I also have a habit of blowing, carefully, on the rear element of the lens to keep dust off of it. Usually their will be a spec or two present.
When I do see dust I just use my rocket blower to remove it.
It looks funny but packs a nice blow.

I read it someplace else in other forum, they said if you blow the sensor,it will become worse as it cause some air turbulance and the dust will harm the sensor something like that.......Some they blow, while some said don't.....Hmmm..a little bit confuse. As I'm a newbie.... :D

Dust harm the sensor??
Turn the camera upside down and blow. It wont cause any damage. You can do the copperhill method if you wish, but I only would if blowing wont get the dust out.

1. 15 months.
2. Never. Dust seems to come and go without cleaning. Just a light puff of air in the camera chamber seems to do the trick.
3 A few times a week or sometimes more.

1 - 7 months
2 - none
3 - usually several times
One little thing I do when I change lens is point the camera down and as soon as the lens clears I point the rear glass down and put the lens cap on. Still holding the camera face down. Take other lens cap off (while holding down) and bring the 2 together without pointing either straight up.

this cheap brush is pretty much I use when the blower isn't quite enough.

1. My current DSLR since December?
2. Once. During my trip to China, I got about 3-4 big specs of dust on my sensor that showed up in quite a few of my pics. When I got back, I took my 20D to my local camera shop. They blew off the sensor for free.
3. I change lenses a lot. I try to be as careful as possible when doing so.
