I installed Olympus Master v1.1 yesterday on my Mac running Mac OS X 10.4.1. Not only did the stupid thing require a gratuitous restart, it also wiped out my Dock customizations! I had the Dock automatically hidden, scaled way down, and a metric buttload of non-Apple applications in it before the installation... afterward the Dock was visible, full sized, and was missing all those applications.
I could almost understand it if Olympus Master had installed itself in the Dock, but it didn't even do that!!
Someone needs to tell those bozos how to write a Mac OS X installer.
Even more annoying, you have to launch the Olympus Master app to download updates to it. Phooey.
Hey Olympus, I just spent $350 on your products and will probably spend more in the near future, why do you treat me like a second class citizen?

Are other folks' Mac OS X apps just as insolent?
